We all want our skin to glow in the summer. I know summertime is when I play around with my high-shine products because they accompany tanned skin so nicely. This year I've been eyeing up the glow-inducing Kbeauty products that are now carried at Urban Outfitters. I look to Korean luminizing products because they often feature ingredients that double as good skincare. I turn to Urban Outfitters when I like to give myself the gift of immediate gratification which can pretty much only be had if you buy from a U.S. based retailer. The fact that Urban participates in online rebate programs make that give-it-to-me-now markup a bit easier to bear.

I'm a big online shopper. I'm one of those people that devote hours to making sure I'm buying the best-in-class stuff at the lowest prices, with the highest service levels. In order to make my dollar stretch further, I make sure to always shop through a rebate portal. There are 3 that I use most often, which are ebates.com, upromise.com, and my favorite, shopathome.com.
So what are rebate portals and why should you use them? Rebate portals exist to save you money when you're buying the things you already plan to buy. They're simple to use. You just go to the rebate site you are planning to use, and click on a link to the store at which you plan to shop. Within a few days, you'll earn some of that cash back.
ShopAtHome is my favorite of this breed of sites because they offer the highest rebate. They have a 110% guarantee to outmatch the other rebates portals (besides upromise). I've also noticed that they deposit the rebate into your account much faster than the other sites which is a huge plus. They also have an online coupon repository that you can check before checking out to maximize your savings. They're 60 million members strong, and growing quickly.
Ebates's main value proposition is that it offers cash back on Amazon purchases where ShopAtHome does not. However, Ebates and ShopAtHome offer cash back on many of the same retailers.
Upromise offers a flat 5% back across all of its retailers which is great as well.
