Temps are high around these parts and I have been feeling less and less motivated to wear anything on my face other than a healthy dose of sunscreen and brows (since I don't want to scare any kids around). Then the Peripera Peri's Tint Water came into my life. Well, it's more like I invited it into my life... with my wallet.
I picked up the shade 02 Pink Juice out of the 5 shade collection here. There is a red tone, 2 pinks, and 2 oranges. The idea was that I'd pick the most natural looking shade so that I could use it as a cheek stain as well.

What It Is (what it do)
A long-lasting watery tint, similar to Benefit's Benetint
Pros
+ The tint in 02 pink juice is the most natural looking rosy flush for the lips and cheeks
+ The color is sheer, and builds up layer by layer without any weird textural issues
+ The lasting power is top notch, and only gets more beautiful and natural-looking as the day wears on - update: it even lasted through a dentist office visit!
+ Ideal for hot, balmy weather as it won't (can't - it's already a liquid) melt! I love a good watery stain for summer. While creams are my favorite, and always have a spot in my heart.. I often can't deal with the weight on my face in the summer.
+ Dries matte, you can't even feel it on
+ Easy to remove with soap and water
+ The packaging - The tint has a doe-foot applicator making it easy to apply
+ The packaging - The tint's top clicks securely into place, making it leak resistant
+ Price! It's way cheaper than the iconic Benefit Benetint and produces the same results
Cons
- You'll have to be able to deal with the lines and dry spots on your lips being visible due to the sheer pigmentation.
- There is no SPF
- You must take care to not pick up too much product while applying on lips as it can get on your teeth
- When using as a cheek stain, product needs to be blended straight away
- Only comes with 6.5 ml of product

o It smells/tastes like fruity medicine. I don't mind it but in case you've got a sensitive nose. Just thought I'd mention

Below are two faces of the day (FOTD). Please don't mind the hat hair.
In terms of application technique, I've found that on the lips, I like to use the applicator to deposit some of the product on the bottom lip, press my lips together and use my fingers to spread out the product evenly. As a cheek stain, I place 2-3 drops of color on my index and middle finger, smush them together, and then pat it onto the cheeks.
