The internets made this review possible. Sparing you the boring deets, I connected *zap* with someone from ElizaVecca over instagram a few months ago and they decided to send me a few things to try out and report back on for you today.

If you'll excuse me, I'm feeling as sick as a milky piggy in a blanket these days - I'll try to be as detailed as possible while writing through a mental f-hog.

I'd never tried much ElizaVecca before, but their design aesthetic is just A++++++infinityandbeyond don't you think?

I love their Donnie Darko bunny and the Mask of Sow-ro mascots.

Top Left: Donnie Darko Top Right: The Mask of Sow-ro Bottom: Two of the many things they sent!

I remember loving this 10 years ago. Can't really tell you what it's about anymore, but highly recommend.

The brand story of ElizaVecca according to a letter written by the President on their website is that they use high quality ingredients in effective amounts, and are still able to offer them to their customers at reasonable prices. We call this "chak-hae" which is a word meaning well-behaved, good, in Korean. You might hear Korean Youtubers say a product has "chak-han" ingredients or a "chak-han" price. ElizaVecca apparently tries to deliver on both.

Before getting into the reviews, I just wanted to mention that EV is not a cruelty-free brand, they have many pig collagen products. I forgot to mention to them that I don't use pig collagen and they sent over 3 products with the stuff. There are other options in the line to consider though.

ElizaVecca YeonYe HyeokMyung 2HoSam Hand Cream

I didn't get to choose the products this time. In fact, I was told that I'd be sent just this hand cream, and they surprised me with the rest. <3

So I think we can assume it's something they're very confident in. There's also kind of a stream of 5 star reviews on their webpage for this product.

Left: doth not thine ovaries explode? Right: It pipes out like rich buttercream frosting.

INGREDIENTS Water, Shea Butter, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Beeswax, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Sea Cucumber Extract, Red Ginseng Extract, Allantoin, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylic Glycol, Fragrance

The ingredients list has some things that are on the more expensive side, like the red ginseng, the sea cucumber.

When I use it on my hands, it feels ultra rich, like it could be almost straight shea butter. It's the perfect hand cream for Chicago winters. There's fragrance in the formula, but somehow the cream remains shea butter scented.

Putting this on feels like relief. It's a very soothing product and my dry skin drinks it up. It's not sticky and the moisture lingers on the skin for a much longer time than my boy band hand creams.

If you'd like to try this out, it's on eBay for $10. For some reason, it's a lot more expensive on their Korean website, at about $21 per cream.

ElizaVecca Milky Piggy Bifida 100%

There are a few companies that do 100% pure bifida extract products.

Bifida ferment lysate is a ferment of a bacteria found in our digestive tracts. 'Cosmetic Cop' Paula Begoun and team have found no supporting evidence that applying it is beneficial to the skin. But there are a fair amount of positive reviews for this and other Bifida products so I went in with an open mind.

Also, lingering in the back of my mind was the fact that soy milk fermented using bifida has shown an ability to stimulate hyaluronic acid and collagen production. Methinks I doth not protest.

I know that does NOT mean that bifida can do that on its own but do you ever just harbor the thought... like maybe it could? Sell me more Eastern Promises.

2-3 drops per use is recommended

INGREDIENTS 100% Bifida

This has the viscosity of water, and is scentless too.

The directions say to use 2-3 drops of this after your pure galactomyces (yeast) product. I took it to mean that it could be used after a first treatment essence.

To test this one, I used it only on half of my face.

I used it on its own for a week - using it after my FTE and before my sheet mask to see if the sheet mask would boost the effects of the fermented extract noticeably. *Brightening and smoothing texture was the hope* I then used it mixed into the essence (closer to the skin, moar effects?) and for some time mixed into a cream (because Michelle from Unboxing Beauty says it can make for nice textures).

In the end, I saw (and I may have imagined) a little tightening of pores, but I did not see the brightening nor texture-smoothing effects I'd hoped for.

50 ml of this product retails for $14.99 on eBay or just under $30 on ElizaVecca Korea. It could be worth a shot, as YMMV.

ElizaVecca MilkyPiggy Bio Cling Whitening Aqua Mask

They sent me 5 of these bio-cellulose masks featuring anti-aging Adenosine and Niacinamide. The mask is for wrinkle care and brightening.

INGREDIENTS Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Betaine, Glyceryl Polymetacrylate, Propylene Glycol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi Extract, Panthenol, Hydroxyethylacrylate/Sodium Acryloyl Dimethyl Taurate Crosspolymer, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Xanthan Gum, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Allantoin, Phenyl Trimethicone, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Donkey Milk, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance. [ANALYSIS]

I've tried four of these, (one got sent to a Miss Mariacat collector of rare sheet masks) and I've enjoyed them thoroughly. I wouldn't go so far as to import them via shipping service from ElizaVecca Korea, but if they were easily available to me, I wouldn't mind trying them again.

The biocellulose material suctions on tightly to the face. While biocellulose is usually very thin, this mask is more substantial.

I like how the mask is one piece, and the fit is pretty ideal for my face shape. It also has no discernable scent.

One drawback to the mask is that although I can use it for as long as 35-45 minutes, at that point, it's lost enough moisture and shrink-wrapped itself to the contours of my face enough to act like a pore strip. I've definitely peeled off some sebaceous filaments with this mask this way. I like to use them for 25 minutes tops so that doesn't happen.

After using one of these masks, my face looks brighter for the rest of the night.

Thanks niacinamide and licorice root extract! <- link is to my instagram where I'm currently doing a 30-day hanbang challenge.

These are $17.99 for 5 ($3.6 each) at eBay or circa $10 for 5 on ElizaVecca Korea
