Hi all, I'm back with a review roundup of everything that's crossed my instagram over the past week or so. I do mini reviews on IG but, for anything where you might want to find an ingredients list or more photos and details, I find that I like to cover these types of items on the blog as well.
TheSAEM Fruits Punch Sleeping Packs
These adorable sleeping packs by the brand TheSAEM caught my eye because of their packaging (omg little juice boxes squee!) but when I pulled up their ingredients list on the HwaHae app and found out the ingredients looked quite impressive and appropriate for dry skin, I checked out with them so fast I probably gave them a little bout of whiplash. The packs come in Peach, Apple, and Banana, and as you may have guessed, they contain some peach, apple, and banana in each pack, respectively. The scents are bright and loud and pretty accurate, with the banana having a bit of an after-scent that is less pleasant than the others. The consistency of the packs themselves are a gel formula that gets watery after making contact with the skin. When first squeezed out, they look and feel a bit like the famed Mizon Snail Recovery Gel, so, a clear, cloudy gel. I have to say that I'm more happy with these products for the sensory experience, the visual and the scent are all quite amazing. In terms of results, these don't really do too much besides moisturize. They each come with 100ml of product in squeeze tube format for a pretty low price so I don't mind one bit.

Missha Smudge-Proof Wood Eyebrow
This is a regular old eyebrow pencil, but the rumor had it that it was a nice dupe for the cult Shu Uemera eyebrow pencil that has to be sharpened by sword (? I don't remember where I first heard this) into a very specific shape (only one side gets sharpened). It was 40% off an already very low price so I picked it up to see if it indeed was smudge-proof. I have this pencil in gray which swatches as an ashy dark brown as you can see in the photo above. The pencil is a really great value as there is at least 4 inches of product. It doesn't come with a sharpener but has a really precise eyebrow brush at the end with soft bristles. The pencil itself lasts all day on my brows, but when I performed the smudge test on my hand, it did smudge off, although it left a lasting stain. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone who has dark brown to black hair.

TheSAEM Daily Super Seed Mask Sheets
Quinoa, Red Rice, Mung Bean, Lentil Bean, Basil Seed
I'm always on the prowl for new sheet masks I haven't tried or heard much about from others yet. These TheSAEM masks caught my eye because the feature ingredients are super foods and I'm all about getting antioxidants on my face especially during summer when I'm out in the sun more. I can use all the help I can get fighting free radical damage to the skin. I picked these up from Gmarket to enjoy chilled. I have to say that my favorites have to be the Quinoa and Red Rice, both of which moisturized and brightened. The rest are mainly great at moisturizing. These masks are typical cotton sheet masks which are soaked in a medium viscosity, medium-strength scented (perfume) essence and the scents are very innocuous - they smell like 'organic skincare'. They each last about 30-40 minutes. My main gripe with these masks are the fit. They have rather large eye and mouth holes and might fit a face with stronger features better. All in all, these weren't remarkably great nor remarkably bad, I don't think I'd repurchase these but it was nice to get the variety.
