December Week 3 K-beauty Skincare Launches

Hi all, these are the new K-beauty skincare releases this third week of December.

Most are freshly announced, or only available on their official Korean websites. These products can be purchased through using a buying service like the one provided by Avecko.com. One of the first stores with international shipping to carry new releases is Tester Korea. At times, new releases will start popping up in their store within a couple of days, so make sure to check them out!

Renewed O HUI Age Recovery Line

The O HUI Age Recovery line contains their proprietary 'baby collagen'. In the line are an essence (114000 KRW/45ml), a skin softener (49400 KRW/150ml), emulsion (59860 KRW/130ml), eye cream (85500 KRW/20ml), cream (95000 KRW/50ml) and facial oil (30ml). The line is available at GS SHOP here.

NEW Nature Republic 'Friends' Hand Creams

Nature Republic revealed they would be renewing their hand cream in these cute squirrel containers. The Friends Hand Creams were originally launched in 2012 and were fairly popular... They even won a packaging design award in 2013. The creams come in sweet, fruity, and baby powder scents and the creams nourish the skin with shea butter, mango butter, cacao seed butter, walnut, acorn, and peanut extracts.

J. One (Actress Ha Ji Won's brand) launches New Hana Cream

J. One's first product, the Jelly Pack made waves a few months ago. They released a new cream called the Hana Cream (80000 KRW/40ml). The Hana cream is a luxury anti-aging cream. It contains 40g of spherical capsules that are crushed and applied to the skin. The cream contains fullerenes (carbon buckyballs), collagen-boosting peptides, anemarrhena asphodeloides root extract, sunflower seed oil, and macadamia seed oil. New at Innisfree: My Body Line

Innisfree's My Body Line includes body cleansers and lotions. They're available in 10 scents which are all inspired by the aromas of Jeju Island. The scents are Tangerine Blossom, Cedar Wood, Cherry Blossom, Peach, Wild Berry, Jasmine, Daphne, Gardenia, Cotton Flower, and Pure Soap. The cleansers (10000 KRW/300ml) and lotions (12000 KRW/300ml) are available at Innisfree Korea.

Canadian Formula Christmas Limited Edition

Canadian Formula by Delon has repackaged their products for the holiday season. The lotion (19000 KRW/473ml) and cream (19000 KRW/453ml) are available at From Nature.

New Skin + Lab Red Cream at Wishtrend

The Skin + Lab Red Cream contains damask rose complex and a red complex with acai, pomegranate, cloudberries, blueberries, raspberries, and lycium, niacinamide and adenosine for brightening and wrinkle care. Available now at Wishtrend for $39.99 / 50ml.

New at Neopharm: Limited Edition Atopalm Cream, and Masks

Neopharm is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a limited edition of its Atopalm MLE Cream (39900 KRW/200ml). This cream is intended to protect the moisture barrier and contains olive oil, jojoba seed oil, portulaca olecerea extract, and a proprietary ceramide complex called MLE. 

Next, their new Real Barrier masks come in two versions: a Soothing Ampoule mask (12000 KRW/5) with ceramides, panthenol, madecassoside, and allantoin, and an Extreme Cream mask (12000 KRW/5) with centella asiatica, peptides, adenosine, panthenol, allantoin, and madecassoside as well.

SK-II Miracle Oil Coming Soon in 2016

Japanese luxury brand SK-II is jumping on the oil essence trend with its new Miracle Oil. This product contains oil and Pitera (yeast extracted and filtered from the sake brewing process) in a golden ratio of 61.8 to 38.2. The oil complex is said to contain avocado oil, jojoba oil, squalane, rice bran oil, rice sterol esters, and olive oil. 

LAB SERIES Anti-Aging Line for Men

Lab Series revealed their latest addition to their premium men's anti-aging line called the MAX LS line.  Joining the line is the Max LS Power V Lifting Serum (100000 KRW/50ml) and the Max LS Power V Lifting Lotion (90000 KRW/50ml).  The line uses their LS Power V Technology (trademarked) and will be available here at Lab Series Korea shortly.

Erborian's Korea Exclusive Ginseng Line and more

I was surprised to see news of this ginseng line launched by Erborian Korea, and even more surprised to see how many more products were 'playing' on the Korean stage vs. what is available in the U.S. The new ginseng line contains 2 products - Eau Ginseng (40850 KRW/190ml), a toner and Ginseng Milk (43700 KRW/190ml), a milky lotion. They contain ginseng, gingko biloba, and ginger. Maybe this is just a sign of Erborian to come. There is a current launch even where purchases of the ginseng line will come with 5ml samples of the Ginseng Infusion Cream and BB cream Eau Ginseng Clear (also exclusive).

Apieu Super Acai Hair Oil

Apieu's Super Acai Hair Oil (6500 KRW/80ml) contains acai berry oil (1000 ppm), a super berry complex including mountain strawberries and 7 other berries, and argan oil. Available at Apieu Korea here.

Ontree Ekia Eye Creams

The organic brand Ontree is launching two new eye serums.

The first, the Ekia Revitalizing All In One Eye Contour Balm by Ontree (63000 KRW / 15ml) features hibiscus extract.

Next, the Ekia Eyelid Firming Serum by Ontree (71000 KRW/15ml) contains carageenan/algae extract, hyaluronic acid complex, and dragon's blood extract.
